What you will do

• Lead cultural resources projects including fieldwork surveys, monitoring, testing, data recovery, historical research, and report preparation.
• Supervise and direct field teams, coordinate mobilization/demobilization, and manage project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Support NHPA Section 106/110 and NEPA processes for private, federal, state, local, and tribal clients.
• Mentor junior staff, provide technical guidance, and lead proposal development.
• Ensure high-quality deliverables through quality review protocols and independent management.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Archaeology, Anthropology or related field.
• Registered Professional Archaeologist; hold or able to acquire state/federal permits in New Mexico and Arizona.
• Minimum 5 years supervisory experience (preferably 10 years) in cultural resources in desert southwest/intermountain west.
• Excellent verbal/written communication, project planning/management, MS Office proficiency.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record; pass drug/alcohol tests.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, lift 50 lbs, work outdoors in inclement weather.

Nice to have

• Permitted or able to be permitted in Colorado or Utah.
• Experience providing cultural resources services across Western US.
• Experience with architectural historians.
