Location: United States (Albuquerque NM, Arizona, New Mexico, Phoenix AZ, Prescott AZ); Remote with extensive field work, overnight/day travel, and outdoor work in variable weather; Must be eligible to be employed in the US.

What you will do
- Lead cultural resources projects including fieldwork surveys, monitoring, testing, data recovery, historical research, and report preparation.
- Supervise and direct field teams, coordinate mobilization/demobilization, and manage project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Support NHPA Section 106/110 and NEPA processes for private, federal, state, local, and tribal clients.
- Mentor junior staff, provide technical guidance, and lead proposal development.
- Ensure high-quality deliverables through quality review protocols and independent management.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Archaeology, Anthropology or related field.
- Registered Professional Archaeologist; hold or able to acquire state/federal permits in New Mexico and Arizona.
- Minimum 5 years supervisory experience (preferably 10 years) in cultural resources in desert southwest/intermountain west.
- Excellent verbal/written communication, project planning/management, MS Office proficiency.
- Valid driver's license, good driving record; pass drug/alcohol tests.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, lift 50 lbs, work outdoors in inclement weather.
Nice to have
- Permitted or able to be permitted in Colorado or Utah.
- Experience providing cultural resources services across Western US.
- Experience with architectural historians.
