IT Project Manager (Digital Factory)

TL;DR

IT Project Manager – Digital Factory: Lead end-to-end execution of IT and digital projects, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and quality expectations with an accent on risk management, dependency tracking, and cross-functional coordination. Focus on developing detailed project plans, proactive issue escalation, and maintaining governance standards in Digital Factory delivery model.

Location: Onsite/Hybrid in Detroit, MI – 3 days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). W2 contract only, no C2C or 1099.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end execution of IT and digital projects, managing scope, schedule, and quality.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans with task sequencing, dependencies, milestones, and resources.
• Manage daily activities, priorities, risks, issues, and dependencies with mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, business stakeholders, vendors, and partners.
• Provide timely project communications, status updates, and documentation.
• Support continuous improvement of project delivery processes in Digital Factory model.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience delivering IT or digital projects in structured environments
• Strong time management, task prioritization, dependency management, and project reporting skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have

• Experience in agile, hybrid, or Digital Factory delivery models
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, or Azure DevOps
• Experience with enterprise or utility-scale technology initiatives
• Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM, or similar)
