What you will do

• Design, develop, integrate, and test software features for embedded electronic controls on Motor Grader machines.
• Create detailed software specifications based on high-level customer requirements.
• Define datalink communications using J1939 and Ethernet protocols.
• Provide electronics and software support for prototype machine builds and testing.
• Manage software releases and provide necessary documentation for field updates.
• Identify, track, and resolve software defects.

Requirements

• Proven engineering experience with electronically controlled mechanical systems.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills involving code, logs, and system analysis.
• Ability to develop product-testing procedures and select appropriate tools.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to the USA.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice to have

• Experience with Embedded C software.
• Background in developing embedded real-time systems for mobile, agricultural, or off-highway applications.
• Experience with electrical components, reading schematics, and troubleshooting machine wiring.
• Knowledge of FMEA processes and electronic system failure modes.
• Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science.
