Salary: $69,400.00 – $158,000.00 per year

What you will do

• Collaborate with product managers and SMEs to translate client visions into intuitive, large-scale digital experiences.
• Execute the full digital creative process, including user research, information architecture, wireframing, and rapid prototyping.
• Implement high-quality front-end code using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Conduct UX testing and gather user feedback to iteratively improve workflows and usability.
• Advocate for design-centered changes to optimize web applications and simulation design.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in front-end development supporting UX/UI design efforts.
• Proficiency with React, Vue, or Angular, and testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Experience with styling frameworks (Material UI, Tailwind) and build tools (Webpack, Vite, Rollup).
• Knowledge of CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Must be based in or able to work from Fort Meade, MD as required.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating UI components with REST APIs or GraphQL services.
• Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
• Experience in responsive design and mobile-first development.
• Ability to create high-fidelity prototypes for stakeholder demonstrations.
