What you will do

• Act as the primary liaison between C-suite stakeholders and hybrid engineering delivery teams.
• Define and operate the Data Governance program, refining operating models and target-state roadmaps.
• Author gold-table specifications and architecture standards for medallion architecture implementations.
• Lead portfolio rationalization activities using a defined retain/refactor/retire methodology.
• Shape KPI definitions, phased roadmaps, and supporting architecture for analytics products.
• Coach and guide practitioners across engineering, architecture, and analytics delivery.

Requirements

• Significant experience leading data governance, data architecture, or analytics architecture in client-facing environments.
• Proven track record of executive stakeholder management and working with steering committees.
• Expertise in translating business needs into structured target-state requirements for engineering.
• Deep understanding of medallion architecture, metadata catalogs, and KPI design.
• Experience authoring frameworks, standards, and reusable delivery artifacts.
• Must be based in Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Purview on Azure.
• Familiarity with dbt and modern analytics engineering patterns.
• Knowledge of Snowflake-based ecosystems.
• Background in consulting or hybrid client-service delivery.
