What you will do

• Lead the execution of the design system vision, infrastructure rollout, and ongoing adoption.
• Design systemic solutions across the ecosystem for web and mobile platforms, evolving patterns and iterating on components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and iterate on product features based on internal feedback and user research.
• Develop design personas and user journey maps to optimize the customer experience.
• Maintain creative infrastructure and libraries, triaging inquiries from design, product, and engineering teams.
• Drive initiatives to improve the internal design practice, including hiring processes and community presence.

Requirements

• 5-7+ years of professional experience in user experience or product design.
• Must be based in Latin America (LATAM).
• Proficiency with Figma and modern product tools like Airtable, Notion, and GitHub.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality design experiences across iOS, Android, and Web.
• Experience working with distributed teams across multiple time zones.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a keen eye for visual execution and consistency.

Nice to have

• Experience with design systems and platform-specific guidelines (iOS Human Interface, Android Material).
• Expertise in global accessibility standards, internationalization, and localization.
• Comprehensive skill set covering the end-to-end design process: research, visual design, interaction design, and prototyping.
• Experience collaborating with art directors, motion designers, and illustrators.
