Fullstack Developer (.NET/Next.js)

TL;DR

Fullstack Developer (.NET/Next.js): Design, develop, and test new features for one of Switzerland’s largest real estate platforms with an accent on cloud-native frontend/backend applications, RESTful APIs, and Elasticsearch-powered search. Focus on migrating legacy stack to Kubernetes, optimizing performance/scalability, and resolving production issues.

Location: Remote from anywhere with maximum time-zone difference of +/- 2 hours from Switzerland (GMT+2). Abroad residents employed via remote.com EoR following local labor laws.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native frontend/backend apps using .NET Core/ASP.NET and Next.js.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Enhance user search experience leveraging Elasticsearch.
• Work hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes for modern environment migration.
• Implement responsive UI components with React and TypeScript.
• Optimize performance, security, scalability; monitor and troubleshoot production issues.

Requirements

• Fluency in English.
• Bachelor’s in CS/Engineering or equivalent + 3+ years professional development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core.
• Solid experience with React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.
• Hands-on with cloud services (Azure preferred), REST APIs, microservices, distributed architectures.
• Knowledge of relational/non-relational DBs (SQL Server, Cosmos DB).
• Familiarity with agile/Scrum in cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with vector databases.
• Knowledge of sorting/ranking algorithms in Elasticsearch.
• Understanding of event-driven architecture.
• Familiarity with high-performance data ingestion pipelines.
