Lead Product Engineer (Hardware)

TL;DR

Lead Product Engineer (Hardware/Manufacturing): Leading manufacturing build and test activities for Palladium and Protium systems with an accent on assembly procedures and design validation. Location: Primarily onsite in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico

What you will do

• Lead manufacturing build and test activities at the rack and system level at contract manufacturer sites.
• Develop, document, and implement new product assembly, build, and test procedures.
• Evaluate Design Validation Testing (DVT) and ensure all RTM deliverables are met.
• Support Design for Manufacturability (DFM) efforts and resolve manufacturing-related design issues.
• Manage prototype and pre-production builds at contract manufacturers to ensure technical accuracy.
• Design and manage scalable, automated assembly and test processes and supporting equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience with test cell development and working with contract manufacturers.
• Hands-on experience with system-level products from prototype through manufacturing release.
• Experience managing complex, multi-level Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Proficiency with electronic and mechanical CAD tools and ability to read schematics.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Nice to have

• Experience with liquid cooling computer systems.
• Debugging complex PCBAs with high-speed interfaces (SerDes, PCIe, Ethernet).
• Experience with high-density optical testing and network processes (Infiniband, ROCE2).
• Proficiency with hirify.global SPB tools such as Allegro and Orcad.
• Experience with PLM tools (Arena, Agile) and comfort with Linux environments.
