What you will do

• Lead and develop the Automation Engineering team in Mexico, aligning with the Americas strategy.
• Drive the delivery of safe and reliable automation engineering solutions.
• Oversee project execution, technical problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build team capability through coaching, development, and performance management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including project, service, and sales teams.
• Implement simplification, standardization, and productivity improvements across engineering workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in automation engineering, electrical engineering, or industrial systems.
• 8–10 years in Automation Engineering plus 5 years in a leadership role within a global company.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Proven experience in people management and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong ability to balance technical judgment with business needs and customer impact.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Portuguese and/or French.
