What you will do

• Own the technical side of deals to move customers from initial interest to confidence in the solution.
• Design scalable systems using PostgreSQL and hirify.global in direct collaboration with technical customers.
• Solve deep technical problems involving schema design, query optimization, and architectural tradeoffs.
• Act as a trusted technical partner from the first conversation through early adoption.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Support to feed real customer feedback back into the product.
• Create demos, reference architectures, benchmarks, and technical content to scale impact.

Requirements

• Experience in a Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or pre-sales role for technical, developer-focused products.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases at scale (PostgreSQL is a significant plus).
• Ability to lead discussions on data models, query plans, performance tuning, and system design with engineers.
• Understanding of cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and modern data stacks (ETL, storage, compute).
• Ability to switch between deep technical conversations and high-level business discussions.
• Must be based in US time zones.
