Salary: $180,000 — $247,500 USD

What you will do

• Partner with sales teams to provide technical leadership and help customers solve complex business problems.
• Guide prospective greenfield customers through their initial implementation journey with hirify.global.
• Consult on Big Data architectures and implement proof of concepts for data engineering, data science, and ML workflows.
• Validate integrations with cloud services, internal tools, and third-party applications.
• Promote and recruit contributors for open-source projects including Spark, Delta Lake, and MLflow.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, technical architecture, or pre-sales/consulting.
• Proven experience building distributed data systems at scale.
• Proficiency in programming and debugging using Python and SQL.
• Experience deploying solutions on public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Expertise in either Data Engineering (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka) or Data Science/ML (pandas, scikit-learn, pytorch, Tensorflow).
• Must be based in California, Colorado, Illinois, New York, Oregon, Texas, or Washington.
