What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Go/Golang.
• Drive the long-term modernization of the backend toward an API-first architecture.
• Build and support integrations with AWS services and cloud-native infrastructure.
• Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and technical architecture discussions to improve engineering quality.
• Mentor other developers and utilize AI tools to accelerate delivery and enhance code quality.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in backend software development with ownership of design and delivery.
• Strong proficiency with Go/Golang, APIs, and service-based application development.
• Deep experience working in AWS environments and supporting cloud-based systems.
• Ability to contribute across the application stack within an agile feature team.
• Experience with modern engineering practices including CI/CD, testing, and Agile collaboration.
• Practical and responsible experience using AI-assisted development tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes, EKS, Docker, PostgreSQL, or DynamoDB.
• Knowledge of OpenSearch, Ruby on Rails, or Angular.
• Experience with observability tooling such as Prometheus and Grafana.
