Staff / Principal Fullstack Engineer (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Design and build core web applications supporting operational tools for care teams and providers, handling complex healthcare workflows and large data volumes.
• Develop modern web interfaces using React, Next.js, and Tailwind for intuitive user experiences with analytics and workflows.
• Build and maintain Node.js and AWS Lambda backend services, APIs, and integrations with healthcare data platforms including FHIR.
• Integrate clinical data, analytics, and AI-powered capabilities like LLM functionality into applications.
• Collaborate with product, data, and infrastructure engineers on architecture, standards, and delivery.

Requirements

• Must be based in the U.S. and able to align with Eastern Time working hours
• 8–12 years of software engineering experience with significant full-stack development
• Proven experience designing and building production web applications
• Strong experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript
• Experience with Node.js backend services, APIs, and cloud systems (AWS preferred)
• Strong communication skills and comfort in fast-paced startup environment

Nice to have

• Experience with healthcare data platforms, FHIR, or interoperability standards
• AI integration in production applications
• HIPAA- or SOC2-compliant environments
