What you will do

• Develop and drive the future direction of a new AWS service.
• Meet with customers to understand their use cases and maintain hirify.global's commitment to start from the customer and work backwards.
• Help manage and operate systems, using best-in-industry continuous-integration-and-deployment tools.
• Participate in the team's Weekly Operations Review and understand the key metrics that drive the product.
• Work with other engineers to improve operations effectiveness by designing new systems and making current ones more effective.
• Help onboard new engineers and guide them in their first weeks at AWS.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
