DFM Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Remote (Working hours from 2-3 a.m. CET)

What you will do

• Evaluate customer designs for manufacturability and recommend improvements using company technologies.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
• Troubleshoot production issues to ensure smooth order execution and customer satisfaction.
• Interface with machine shops, fabrication partners, internal teams, and clients.
• Participate in initiatives to expand the manufacturing partner network and technical capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 2–4 years of experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• 1–2 years of hands-on manufacturing engineering experience focusing on CNC machining and/or sheet metal fabrication.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling software (SolidWorks preferred).
• Solid knowledge of GD&T and inspection/QA practices.
• Working schedule: Tuesday to Saturday (Sunday and Monday are weekends).

Nice to have

• Knowledge of 3/4/5-axis milling and turning with live tooling.
• Familiarity with post-processing and plating finishes for machined parts.
• Experience with specialty processes such as EDM, grinding, honing, and lapping.
• Understanding of material selection and forming technologies (press brake, laser/waterjet cutting, welding, stamping).
