Information Security Engineer (AWS)

What you will do

• Participate in threat modeling exercises with engineering team members.
• Triage SCA, SAST, DAST, and CSPM findings by eliminating false positives.
• Perform security assessments, reviews, and internal penetration tests.
• Support vulnerability management efforts for networks and infrastructure.
• Develop scripts and tools using Python, JavaScript, or Go to automate repetitive security tasks.
• Build custom solutions to integrate security tools with existing systems.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in application security (threat modeling, secure design reviews, code reviews, pen-testing).
• Proficiency in coding/scripting languages such as Python or Go.
• Strong AWS security and engineering knowledge and experience.
• Experience with Linux, Docker, Terraform, and programming against REST APIs.
• Hands-on web application penetration testing experience (e.g., CTFs, Bug Bounty).
• BS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Nice to have

• Security certifications such as OSCP, OSWP, eCPPT, eWPT, or Security+.
