What you will do

• Support the monthly close process and ensure all assigned activities are completed accurately and timely.
• Prepare and upload required data into the Cognos consolidation system.
• Review, analyze, and prepare monthly journal entries for general corporate accounting processes.
• Analyze large datasets to prepare accruals and reconcile balance sheet account variances.
• Support inter-company transactions and perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for quarter-end and year-end financial reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 2-5 years of professional accounting experience.
• Fluency in English.
• Working knowledge of general accounting functions and US GAAP principles.
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and vlookup functions.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as necessary.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Public Accounting or experience within a global organization.
• Prior experience in the software industry.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP and Cognos.
• Chartered accountant certification (IMCP or US CPA).
