What you will do

• Own the commercial guardrails by ensuring consumer contracts and T&Cs are current, compliant, and commercially sound.
• Solve complex edge-case customer issues and develop automated processes to prevent recurrence.
• Act as the primary internal consultant for FCA-related queries for the Marketing and Sales teams.
• Collaborate with Legal and Product teams to launch new features via a fast and compliant product governance path.
• Translate complex regulatory principles into simple operating procedures for non-specialist teams.

Requirements

• Experience working within a UK-regulated consumer finance environment, ideally in a Fintech business.
• Strong understanding of FCA principles, including Consumer Duty and Treating Customers Fairly.
• Generalist ability to pivot between legal contract reviews and data-heavy reporting or analysis.
• Tech-first mindset with a focus on using automation and AI workflows over manual processes.
• Proven ability to distill complex rules into clear instructions for operational teams.
• Strong bias to action within a fast-paced scale-up environment.
