Location: Hybrid (Huerth, Germany). In office for 2 days per week.

What you will do

• Maintain and test internal control systems in alignment with ICFR, COSO, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct business-level risk assessments to ensure financial reporting integrity and asset protection.
• Execute annual monitoring and testing plans for assigned business units.
• Evaluate control design effectiveness to mitigate fraud and operational errors.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and report results to management.
• Provide guidance on process changes and system implementations to embed controls from the design phase.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting or auditing experience.
• Strong knowledge of COSO, SOX-type environments, and IT General Controls.
• Advanced German language skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to travel approximately 30%.
