What you will do

• Design and build AI-powered systems for conversational chat interfaces and agentic document editing/understanding workflows.
• Integrate AI capabilities into SDKs and developer tools, collaborating with product, engineering, and design teams.
• Architect modular, reliable systems for seamless AI integrations.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and efficiency of AI features on a large-scale platform.
• Stay at the forefront of AI and engineering developments, introducing new approaches and tooling.
• Contribute to a multi-language codebase (TypeScript, Python, C++, Elixir).

Requirements

• Excellent written and spoken English for communication in a globally distributed team.
• 3–4+ years software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in AI (integrations, systems, or products).
• Hands-on experience with AI frameworks like LangChain, CrewAI, or LlamaIndex for production-grade applications.
• Strong systems design skills, maintainable code, and comfort with ambiguity.
• Passion for engineering craft shown through side projects or open-source.

Nice to have

• Depth in TypeScript, Python, C++, or Elixir; curiosity across them.
