Salary: $120,000–$150,000 CAD annually (Ontario)

What you will do

• Lead consulting engagements from discovery to delivery, aligning stakeholders on priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Facilitate decision forums, map dependencies, and establish cadences for cross-team reliability work.
• Design and implement reusable reliability tools, observability strategies, and production readiness practices.
• Lead incident investigations, design/code reviews, and systemic risk remediation across teams.
• Mentor senior engineers and consultants while influencing platform roadmaps and SRE adoption.
• Improve consulting playbooks based on patterns observed across hirify.global teams.

Requirements

• Deep practical SRE knowledge including SLOs, error budgets, and governance.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, AWS, distributed systems, observability, and incident analysis.
• Proven cross-team leadership and influence without authority in complex organizations.
• High proficiency in English (verbal and written) required for interactions with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
• Location restricted to Toronto, ON or Québec, QC (Remote).
• Solid software engineering fundamentals for enterprise codebases.
