TL;DR

Senior Node.js Developer (Node.js/Nest.js): Building and scaling the backend of platforms for Fintech and iGaming with an accent on high-performance systems and microservices architecture. Focus on designing scalable backend services, integrating third-party APIs, and optimizing high-load systems.

Location: On-site in Valencia, Spain. Full relocation support and visa sponsorship are provided.

Salary: €5,500–€6,500 per month (net)

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain in-house backend platforms using Node.js and Nest.js.
  • Design and implement third-party API integrations.
  • Build new features and services from scratch within a microservices environment.
  • Optimize performance and scalability for high-load systems.
  • Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with frontend, QA, and product teams to ensure high-quality deliveries.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in web development.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js and Nest.js.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Experience with high-load SQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and MySQL.
  • Proven experience implementing REST, GraphQL, and WebSockets.
  • English: C1/C2 (Advanced/Fluent) required.

Nice to have

  • 2+ years of experience with CI/CD, microservices, and containers.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and NATS.
  • Strong knowledge of TypeScript.
