Field Officer - Internal Audit

Focus on auditing enrolment team work, identifying inconsistencies and fraud, and recommending process improvements.

Location: Kaliro District, Uganda (field-based, temporary 5 months project)

What you will do

• Engage with recipients to assess field processes and recommend corrections/improvements.
• Measure Field Officer data quality against standards and report inconsistencies.
• Evaluate field team compliance with GD processes and policies.
• Identify and report program risks, fraud, and bribery cases.
• Examine local stakeholders’ assessments of GD’s program in the community.

Requirements

• Lulamogi language (mandatory), Lugwere preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, minimum 2 years experience in disadvantaged communities.
• Ability to audit recipient surveys and processes; some monitoring & evaluation experience.
• Good computer/mobile data entry and assessment skills.
• Critical thinking, strong judgment, interpersonal skills, honesty, and integrity.
• Physical fitness to cope with difficult weather/terrain.
• Excellent communication; strong interest in GD’s mission.
