Senior Protection Officer (Humanitarian)

What you will do

• Develop and implement work and procurement plans for all protection activities.
• Manage budget items to ensure timely spending in accordance with donor requirements.
• Supervise and provide technical guidance to the Protection team to ensure adherence to best practices.
• Build and maintain relationships with UNHCR, government counterparts, and other national/international NGOs.
• Plan and implement community-based Protection (CBP) programs, including outreach and capacity building.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly project progress reports for management.

Requirements

• Degree in Law, Sociology, Social Work, Education, or Humanities.
• 5-7 years of professional experience in protection programming and working with vulnerable communities.
• Experience implementing protection interventions, including Analysis, legal incident case management, and support for Persons with Specific Needs.
• Proven experience in managing diverse teams and writing detailed project reports.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
