Electrical Engineering PVT Engineer

TL;DR

Electrical Engineering PVT Engineer (EV & Electrical Systems): Work on electrical system quality issues in vehicle assembly plant with an accent on control modules, software, switches, and wiring harnesses. Focus on monitoring quality metrics, applying problem-solving skills, developing containment solutions, and contributing to world-class performance levels.

Location: Halewood, Liverpool (hybrid working). Applicants MUST have proof of immediate, on-going and valid eligibility to work full time and travel within the UK

Salary: Up to £33.88 per hour (Inside IR35), 40 hrs pw

What you will do

• Monitor quality metrics to identify emerging electrical system issues affecting assembly and customers.
• Apply problem-solving skills to develop containment and design change solutions.
• Provide interface between core engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Contribute to achieving quality targets and world-class performance for vehicle lines.

Requirements

• Proof of immediate, ongoing UK work eligibility and ability to travel within the UK
• Experience in plant vehicle quality operations or engineering delivery of electrical systems.
• Knowledge of electrical systems including control module software and wiring harnesses.
• Use of problem-solving tools and processes.
• Capability to use diagnostic tools for vehicle electrical systems via CAN network.

• Microsoft tools (PowerPoint, Excel).
• Data logging tools (Corvus, Snapshot, DLT, CANalyzer).
• Customer quality data systems (IQM, AWS, VFDB).
• CAD systems (3DX, Digibuck, Teamcentre).
• Cross-functional coordination experience.
