What you will do

• Develop and implement strategic operational plans for all varsity events, including league games, playoffs, and national championships.
• Lead audience-focused marketing and promotion plans to drive brand engagement and increase ticket sales.
• Oversee game-day operations including scheduling, facility logistics, security, and safety planning.
• Manage the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of full-time, part-time, and student staff.
• Maintain fiscal accountability through budget preparation, quarterly projections, and financial reconciliation.
• Collaborate with university stakeholders and external partners to ensure alignment with institutional goals.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of related experience in event or operations management.
• Must possess a full Class 5 driver's license.
• Ability to lift or move heavy objects of approximately 50lbs.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, and MS Office.
• Proven experience in staff supervision and financial management.

Nice to have

• Experience in college/university athletic event management.
• Experience with digital communications and emerging social media channels.
