Director of Technology Planning & Strategy

📍to join senior leadership team in the manufacturing sector | report to Group Chief Technology Officer (GCTO) and may require occasional travel within GCC and regional locations

Key responsibilities include:
- Leading enterprise technology strategy and maintaining comprehensive IT roadmaps.
- Serving as a trusted technology business partner to senior executives.
- Drafting and governing enterprise architecture aligned with business operating models.
- Overseeing IT budgeting, resource allocation, and vendor/license management.
- Identifying IT risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Collaborating with PMO/TMO on strategic technology initiatives.
- Monitoring KPIs and driving continuous improvement across IT operations.
- Leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing technology planning team.

We are looking for candidates with:
- 15+ years in technology within a manufacturing organization.
- 5+ years in an IT Business Partner or equivalent strategic role.
- Proven expertise in IT strategy, enterprise architecture, and governance.
- PMP or equivalent certification preferred; change management certification (Prosci/ACMP) is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with SAP and Microsoft tools.
- Strong communication skills, particularly in presenting to C-suite executives.
- A bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
