What you will do

• Design and develop features and optimizations for complex data platform challenges.
• Build and maintain data pipelines processing large volumes of structured and unstructured data using big data technologies.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness throughout the pipeline lifecycle.
• Monitor data performance and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver project requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of coding practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of software development experience building data pipelines and processing large-scale data.
• Programming proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java.
• Experience with automated testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with EMR, Apache Spark, or distributed computing frameworks.
• Hands-on experience building production systems in AWS cloud environments.
• Familiarity with relational and non-relational database technologies, data extraction, transformation, and integration.
