What you will do

• Review and revise the overall taxonomy for Switchboard’s online content based on information science principles.
• Analyze search data to improve how users search and browse the online library.
• Create and update records to ensure online resources are aligned with the taxonomy for better discoverability.
• Retag and clean existing resource library posts directly within WordPress.
• Develop written documentation and guidelines for the team to follow post-consultancy.

Requirements

• Background in information science or library science.
• Hands-on experience with WordPress for data cleaning and retagging.
• Ability to analyze search data and implement structural improvements.
• Must be authorized to work in the US (based on provided US benefits).
