Autonomy Engineer (AI/Robotics): Designing, developing, and testing robotics software and algorithms for autonomous platforms with an accent on software architecture and system verification. Location: Onsite in Burnie, Tasmania, Australia (5 days per week)

What you will do

• Research customer experience with robotic platforms and prepare management reports.
• Document architecture specifications, software design descriptions, verification plans, and safety procedures.
• Debug, test, and maintain software and hardware systems of robotic tools.
• Develop application software and algorithms for robotic platforms.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure client needs are met.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science.
• Knowledge of AI concepts, technologies, and methodologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages and technical troubleshooting.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software product testing strategies.
• Must have valid work authorization for Australia; visa sponsorship and relocation are not supported.
