What you will do

• Review and formally sign off on monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, P&L, and cash flow statements.
• Act as the primary point of contact to lead external audits and resolve complex compliance issues.
• Partner with global legal and corporate tax units to ensure flawless local country filings.
• Drive financial system optimization (Oracle/NetSuite) and pioneer the adoption of AI and advanced data analytics.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive accounting and tax compliance experience.
• Proven track record as a primary reviewer for audited statutory financial statements in a multinational corporate framework.
• Professional fluency in Spanish and English is required.
• Must be based in Lisbon, Portugal.
• Ability to independently formulate creative solutions for unique business and financial scenarios.

Nice to have

• Professional certifications such as CPA, Chartered Accountant (CA), or ACCA.
• Proficiency with Oracle and NetSuite.
