React Engineer (AI)

Location: Fully onsite at the Lisbon office, Portugal; relocation support is available.

Compensation: €56K–€70K annually, to be discussed.

hirify.global is a self-funded product company developing an AI-powered Personal and Entrepreneurial Resource Planner, with offices in Lisbon and San Francisco.

What you will do

• Build responsive, accessible, and stable user interfaces for web applications.
• Translate wireframes and prototypes into scalable frontend experiences in collaboration with designers and product managers.
• Develop and maintain frontend code using React or other modern JavaScript frameworks, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Optimize page load times, rendering performance, and overall user experience.
• Integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs with backend engineering teams.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests and participate in code reviews.

Requirements

• Around 3+ years of frontend development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with React, Vue, or Angular and responsive design principles.
• Familiarity with Webpack or Rollup, Git, and CI/CD practices.
• Ability to work onsite at the Lisbon office or relocate to Portugal.
