Location: Hybrid (Must be based in Poland and work from the assigned office at least 3 days per week)

What you will do

• Develop strategies for evolving the platform to its next generation in collaboration with engineering leadership.
• Collaborate with product management to refine requirements and lead the implementation of complex projects.
• Design and implement scalable services prioritizing reliability, observability, and efficiency.
• Improve the existing code base and infrastructure patterns using technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, and Spark.
• Mentor new engineers and interns to contribute to team growth and development.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to and triage system issues.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience building high-scale services.
• Strong proficiency in Java.
• Experience designing, building, and deploying high-quality software.
• Ability to work from the assigned office a minimum of 3 days per week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays).
• Growth mindset with a focus on leveraging AI to increase operational impact.

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Experience with message queues and streaming platforms such as Kafka or Google Pub/Sub.
• Experience building and operating microservices on Kubernetes.
