What you will do

• Design and develop robust architectural designs for payment processing solutions.
• Build new business modules tailored for high-throughput processing in a microservices environment.
• Refactor and optimize legacy code to improve performance and reduce technical debt.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and cross-functional engineering teams to design scalable solutions.
• Ensure high-quality deliverables using TDD, BDD, and robust test automation.
• Take full ownership of the performance, scalability, and reliability of the software.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in Java development (Spring) and complex distributed systems.
• Proven experience working with both monolithic and microservice architectures.
• Practical, project-proven experience with Kubernetes and Kafka.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering practices: TDD/BDD, DDD, Clean Code, and API design.
• Solid experience with database design and strong working knowledge of SQL.
• English: Effective verbal and written communication skills required.
