What you will do

• Develop models for document understanding tasks including entity extraction, intent detection, and structure analysis.
• Perform error analysis, data cleaning, and optimization to improve model performance.
• Collaborate on roadmap recommendations and integrate models into end-to-end pipelines.
• Define performance metrics based on product use-cases and business requirements.
• Set up systems for continuous model improvement like active learning.

Requirements

• 6+ years in data science/ML, especially designing/building NLP models.
• Expertise with Python.
• Experience with language models (transformers, LLMs).
• Proficiency in SQL, NumPy, Pandas, and PyTorch (preferred) or TensorFlow.
• Industry experience delivering ML/AI projects from ideation to impact.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and influence KPIs with AI.

Nice to have

• Document layout analysis with vision/multi-modal approaches.
• Spark/PySpark and Databricks experience.
• Healthcare industry background.
