What you will do
- Build and evolve sophisticated 3-statement financial models to support strategic decision-making and cash generation analysis.
- Lead rolling forecasts, annual planning, and management reporting, producing clear performance narratives on variances and drivers.
- Drive the evaluation of major business initiatives, including new product launches and market entries, focusing on margin optimization.
- Collaborate with Data and Risk teams to build scalable financial frameworks and foundations for regulatory capital planning.
- Analyze financial and operational performance metrics and competitive positioning to provide actionable insights for senior leaders.
- Prepare high-quality materials and analysis for the Executive Management Team and the Board of Directors.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in Strategic Finance (FP&A), Investment Banking, Management Consulting, PE, or VC.
- Advanced financial modeling skills and the ability to extract insights from complex datasets.
- Solid understanding of corporate finance and accounting fundamentals; CFA or ACA qualification is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for distilling complex analysis into crisp narratives.
- Must be based in Berlin.

- Background in fintech, SaaS, or high-growth environments.
- Understanding of regulated industries and capital requirements.
- Proficiency in modern FP&A tools such as Abacum, Planful, or Anaplan.
