What you will do

• Oversee electrical installations including underground duct banks, switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, and grounding.
• Manage and schedule electrical contractors and on-site crews to deliver milestones to exacting quality standards.
• Monitor daily night-shift progress, maintaining detailed logs, red-line drawings, and as-built documentation.
• Develop and enforce aggressive construction schedules to keep the project on time and within budget.
• Champion and enforce a zero-incident safety culture around energized equipment and heavy installations.
• Resolve on-site technical conflicts, material delays, and sequencing issues to ensure system reliability.

Requirements

• 3+ years managing large-scale industrial or mission-critical electrical construction teams.
• 3+ years of direct hands-on experience with high-voltage/medium-voltage systems and power distribution.
• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• Availability to work night shift as the primary schedule, including flexibility for evenings and weekends.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in industrial environments and lift 25+ lbs.

Nice to have

• Degree in construction management, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Track record supervising electrical construction for hyperscale data centers.
• Familiarity with Memphis-area building codes and electrical regulations (NEC, NFPA 70E).
• Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or MS Project.
