AV Systems Programmer (Q-SYS)

Salary: $85,000 - $115,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Program, deploy, and tune Audio DSP software files, focusing on large Q-SYS systems.
• Develop AV User Interfaces using the Q-SYS Designer platform.
• Debug AV control software systems using scripting tools, primarily within the Q-SYS environment.
• Review and interpret AV system design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and functional narratives.
• Manage the full project life cycle with a heavy focus on on-site software deployment.

Requirements

• Must be based in New York City, NY, Boulder, CO, or Washington, DC.
• Willingness to travel up to 35%, primarily to NYC and Washington DC, or other US locations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for direct client interaction.
• Must become AVIXA CTS certified within one year of employment.
• Prior experience with Q-SYS systems is preferred.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in LUA and/or Python programming.
• Experience with Biamp, BSS, Symmetrix, or similar systems.
• Experience with UI development for AMX, Crestron, or Extron platforms.
• Experience developing plugins, modules, or enterprise programming code blocks.
