Research Technician

Location: Northborough, MA (100% On-site)

Salary: $52,000–$62,400 ($25–$30/hr)

What you will do

• Support R&D team with experiments and material processing
• Prepare, mix, mold, and test samples
• Assist with experimental setups and basic fixture design
• Collect and analyze data using Excel and lab tools
• Maintain accurate documentation in ELN, lab notebooks, and shared systems

Requirements

• Hands-on lab or pilot-scale mixing and molding experience
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and document work accurately
• Comfortable operating equipment and troubleshooting basic issues
• Prior R&D, lab, or industrial experience (1–5 years, entry level)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Work across both lab and industrial environments

Nice to have

• Experience with abrasives or ceramic mixing/molding
• Familiarity with mixers, presses, Rockwell hardness or Instron testing
