Location: Hybrid (Vancouver, BC). Must be based in British Columbia and eligible to work in Canada

Salary: $119,000 - $130,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop visual solutions ranging from exploratory ideation to final production-ready concepts.
• Create concept work spanning creatures, environments, props, vehicles, and hard-surface designs.
• Translate creative and technical challenges into clear, compelling visual solutions.
• Build and present strong reference packages and design thinking in reviews and discussions.
• Collaborate with the Head of Art, VFX Supervisors, and show leadership to support project needs.
• Manage multiple assigned tasks independently to meet strict production deadlines.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of professional production experience in concept art or visual development for high-end VFX, feature films, or episodic content.
• Must be based in British Columbia and eligible to work in Canada.
• Expert-level photoreal concept rendering skills and strong traditional drawing fundamentals.
• Broad experience across creatures, environments, and prop design.
• Strong understanding of cinematic storytelling and VFX production workflows.
• Proven ability to solve complex visual problems under tight production timelines.

Nice to have

• Industrial design background.
• Experience with hard-surface or mechanical design.
• Experience in feature VFX concept development.
