What you will do

• Edit, enhance, and clean up motion capture data according to gameplay, engine, and design requirements.
• Collaborate with Design Leads to define animation needs and create designs for animation-based features.
• Work with engineers and designers to influence the technical implementation of features in-engine.
• Champion animation quality and authenticity, bringing an animation perspective to all decision-making.
• Create prototype assets, sketches, and layouts for game and cinematic previsualization.
• Provide accurate task estimations for animation work.

Requirements

• University degree or college diploma in visual arts, graphic design, or a related field.
• Experience with Unreal Engine and creating second-to-second interactive animation features.
• Subject matter expertise in human movement pertaining to professional sports.
• Proven creative ability and artistic talent demonstrated through a portfolio.
• Must be located in or able to work from the Vancouver/Burnaby, BC area.
