Location: Remote (Must reside in and be legally eligible to work in Canada)

Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 a year

What you will do

• Create narratively compelling environments through thoughtful prop placement.
• Collaborate with art leadership, designers, and lighting artists to ensure levels meet gameplay and narrative requirements.
• Maintain artistic consistency and adhere to established IP aesthetic guidelines.
• Efficiently reuse existing assets and materials to alter the look and feel of spaces.
• Establish a cohesive environment style while respecting technical limitations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a level artist in-engine.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and reside within Canada.
• Strong portfolio showcasing in-engine work on previous titles.
• Excellent sense of scale, proportion, and composition.
• Passion for environmental storytelling and strong communication skills.

Nice to have

• Passion for grounded, immersive science fiction.
• Experience working in proprietary engines.
• Solid grasp of PBR workflows using Substance Painter and/or Designer.
• Proficiency in hard-surface modeling software such as Maya, Blender, or Plasticity.
