Salary: CAD $43.00–$64.00 per hour

What you will do

• Build large-scale natural environment models using a mixture of kitbash, sculpting, and procedural generation techniques.
• Create photorealistic models from 2D reference, previs, photogrammetry, and scan data.
• Deliver clean, well-constructed assets that meet the technical requirements of FX, Layout, and Lookdev departments.
• Manage the complexity of large environment builds through effective use of asset instancing.
• Work independently and collaboratively to meet production deadlines for upcoming shows.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in VFX production.
• Proficiency in Maya within a production environment.
• Experience sculpting high-resolution assets with ZBrush.
• Knowledge of photogrammetry processing, remeshing, and map extraction.
• Experience with Linux desktop and system commands.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Vancouver, Wellington, or Melbourne.

Nice to have

• Experience with procedural modelling techniques such as Houdini or Gaea.
• Ability to script in MEL, VEX, and/or Python.
