What you will do

• Analyze, accept, or decline inland marine risks to ensure portfolio profitability.
• Manage and develop strong relationships with retail and wholesale brokers in the Northeast region.
• Handle new business and renewals, including the determination of classifications, rates, and premiums.
• Monitor producer performance and the overall book of business to recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with underwriting management to optimize operations, systems, and procedures.
• Identify and act on cross-sell opportunities across other hirify.global divisions.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of current experience in inland marine underwriting.
• Bachelor’s degree and relevant industry designations.
• Proven reputation and network with wholesale and retail distribution channels.
• Proficiency in loss rating and actuarial modeling tools/techniques.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
