What you will do

• Define the quarterly roadmap and long-term vision for the ORION engine, anchored in business outcomes.
• Lead discovery for complex clinical trial modelling problems and produce sharp scoping documents.
• Translate scientific and clinical constraints into precise product and engineering requirements.
• Direct technological architecture and UX flows while managing bi-weekly sprints and quality deliverables.
• Own the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy and coordinate all product launches and communications.
• Manage a Product Designer and collaborate with an embedded Scientist to align product direction.

Requirements

• 7+ years in product management or software engineering, building large-scale distributed systems or SaaS.
• At least 2 years of experience at a high-growth scale-up (traditional corporate backgrounds will not be considered).
• 3+ years in a technical leadership role with direct team accountability.
• Must be based in the Austin office (Hybrid model).
• Experience building AI-powered products, ideally involving simulation or probabilistic modelling.
• STEM degree preferred.

Nice to have

• Ex-founder experience (product to Seed or Series A).
• Experience as a senior software engineer transitioned into product management.
• Background as a system or solution architect.
