What you will do

• Manage end-to-end creative execution from concept approval through final cut, ensuring story quality at every stage.
• Direct on-camera talent on set to draw out authentic performances and capture creative intent.
• Develop story architecture, including hooks, escalations, and payoffs, prior to shoot days.
• Collaborate with Lead Editors on pacing, narrative structure, and audience retention.
• Oversee production logistics, including scheduling, budgeting, and crew management, in partnership with the Line Producer.
• Maintain and evolve the channel's creative voice and establish consistent editorial standards.

Requirements

• 6–10+ years of experience directing or producing high-retention YouTube or unscripted lifestyle content.
• Expert narrative instincts and demonstrated ability to direct non-scripted talent.
• Proven experience managing production budgets and schedules for on-location shoots with lean crews.
• Exceptional organizational precision and the ability to remain decisive under pressure.
• Ability to work onsite in Greenville, NC.

Nice to have

• Background in fast-moving creator environments where infrastructure had to be built from scratch.
• Existing relationships with production crews or vendors in the Southeast US.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted ideation workflows.
