Location: Must be based in the US (indicated by FedRAMP and 401k requirements)

Salary: $230,000 - $270,000

What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, managing hiring, onboarding, and performance.
• Manage high-scale environments processing 55Tb of data daily.
• Build internal tools to expand platform capabilities and adopt cutting-edge technologies.
• Collaborate with R&D to enhance system stability and reliability.
• Influence the product roadmap based on engineering requirements.
• Perform operational duties for FedRAMP cloud products, including deployments and incident management.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Team Lead or Tech Lead.
• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or SRE in production environments.
• In-depth experience operating and monitoring Kubernetes.
• High familiarity with AWS or other major cloud providers.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Crossplane.
• Strong understanding of networking layers and protocols (HTTP, gRPC, SSL).
• Software engineering experience, preferably in Golang.

Nice to have

• Experience with FedRAMP compliance (High/Moderate levels), vulnerability management, and continuous monitoring.
• Experience operating large-scale data pipelines.
• Familiarity with Apache Kafka.
