What you will do

• Perform production inspection plans for receiving, manufacturing, assembly, and first article inspections.
• Conduct detailed visual and dimensional inspections using microscopes and precision gauges.
• Verify and maintain compliance with contractual quality changes and engineering procedures.
• Resolve fabrication and product-related problems using basic problem-solving techniques and execute corrective actions.
• Collect and analyze data to draw conclusions and provide recommendations for process improvement.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen) and process validation efforts.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Must be local to the WNY area; relocation will not be provided for this role.

Nice to have

• Background in machining, inspection, assembly, test, and RCCA investigation.
• Experience with AS9100 specifications and precision equipment such as CMM, Vici laser mic systems, and air gauges.
• Experience writing and tracking nonconformances and supporting CAPA processes.
• Knowledge of SPC, gauge capability studies, and process validation.
