What you will do

• Demonstrate team-leading style in producing lifeline and news content.
• Generate workflows, formats, ideas, stories and creative treatments ensuring content consistency, quality and accuracy.
• Research, script and produce content meeting high journalistic standards and hirify.global Editorial Guidelines, building an evergreen bank of adaptable lifeline content.
• Support new lifeline offers to maximize content reach and provide relevant hirify.global journalism.
• Utilize social media, new technologies and innovative AI approaches to deliver journalism.
• Evaluate reach and impact of content using digital tools, optimizing for audiences in need.
• Maintain organized approach to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Experience leading teams in live and pre-recorded lifeline/news content production, including hirify.global News methods and social media.
• Specialist knowledge of lifeline audience needs across digital, social and linear platforms, including World Service languages.
• Balanced judgment adhering to hirify.global Editorial Guidelines, target audience and goals.
• Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills across hirify.global and external stakeholders.
• Strong written English.
