What you will do

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of customer integrations from discovery through delivery and post-go-live support.
• Lead requirements gathering and solution design sessions with technical and business stakeholders.
• Design, build, and deploy integrations between Brightflag and third-party systems using APIs and data transformations.
• Leverage generative AI tools (e.g., Codex, Claude Code) to accelerate development, testing, and documentation.
• Manage integration workstreams, including project planning, stakeholder coordination, and delivery tracking.
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to evolve integration patterns and platform capabilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience delivering API-based integrations in a customer-facing or solutions engineering role.
• Hands-on experience with coding, scripting, and configuring integrations.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON/XML, and authentication methods (OAuth, API keys).
• Proven ability to manage projects end-to-end and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be based in the US (Eastern or Central Time Zones).
• No work permit sponsorship or self-sponsorship available for this role.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating with financial or Accounts Payable systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Coupa).
• Familiarity with integration platforms or middleware such as MuleSoft or Boomi.
• Experience with API testing/documentation tools like Postman or Swagger.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Java.
• Experience working in Agile environments using Jira or Asana.
